Bullock Hires Planned Parenthood Exec as Health Policy Advisor
Helena – Governor Steve Bullock announced Friday that he has hired Jessica Rhoades as his health policy advisor. Ms. Rhoades has had a long career in Democrat political circles, including time with Planned Parenthood.
Rhoades was the western regional field director for Planned Parenthood of America Federation. Prior to her work with Planned Parenthood, Rhoades served as the communications director for the Montana Democrat Party. More recently Rhoades had served as the spokesperson Montana Department of Health and Human Services.
In addition to Rhoades appointment Governor Bullock announced other additions to his staff and cabinet on Friday, including: Martha Williams as director of the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks; Ben Thomas as the director of the Department of Agriculture; Ken Fichtler as the chief business development officer; Patrick Holmes as the governor’s natural resource policy adviser; Tim Baker was appointed to the Northwest Power and Conservation Council; and Ronja Abel as the governor’s director of communications.
