A bill to help retain teachers in rural areas was introduce into the Montana House of Representatives.
House Representative Llew Jones introduced Bill 211, and it had its first hearing in the education committee last week.
The bill would build a program that would address recruitment and retention of K-12 teachers in areas that have a shortage of educators.
