Montana gun safety bill introduced on Parkland anniversary

A gun safety bill championed by a Helena student advocacy group was introduced in the Montana Legislature on the one-year anniversary of the mass shooting in a high school in Parkland, Florida.

The Independent Record reports the bill introduced Thursday also calls for the state Office of Public Instruction to develop model firearms safety training and procedures.
