Be sure to plan ahead for slow and difficult driving conditions around the area today as freezing drizzle and snow will impact the morning and evening commutes. Freezing drizzle overnight has made for slick road conditions on untreated surfaces and lesser traveled roads. Drizzle will continue into the mid-morning before changing over to all snow for the afternoon, lasting into the late evening. A winter weather advisory is in effect for the entire KTTC viewing area until midnight. We’ll likely reach our high temperatures in the lower 30s during the morning hours and then see temperatures falling into the 20s during the afternoon. Winds will be blustery today out of the northwest at 10-20 mph with gusts near 30 mph. Will also need to watch out for areas of blowing snow at times today, especially in areas prone to blowing.
Tonight, periods of light to moderate snowfall will continue
