MISSOULA, Mont. — A western Montana company made the cut in an international competition to come up with U.S. Air Force security solutions.
Adelos, Inc. is a subsidiary of S&K Technologies, Inc. and owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai tribes. We showed you their groundbreaking technology two years ago when they proposed alternative security solutions to a wall at the southern border. The company uses sensor technology for security solutions, which can detect even the smallest vibrations in the earth’s surface. That landed them as a finalist in an Air Force competition this year to build a base of the future. Out of 1,600 entries, Adelos made the final 92. They’re the only fiber optic perimeter security company in their subcategory.
