It’s been a big day for the crypto community. Thanks to President Donald Trump’s promise to make America the Crypto Capital of the World, Congress worked to put forward and pass legislation that would secure a stable footing within the marketplace while ensuring asset privacy and shore up crypto accounts against government intrusion.

The Clarity Act, the GENIUS Act, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act all passed through the House on Thursday. As RedState reported, the GENIUS Act had already cleared the Senate, but faced a procedural hurdle in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, with 12 Republicans voting “NO.” After an evening meeting with President Trump, several of the members agreed to allow the bill to move forward to the full House. On Thursday, it passed the full House on a 308-122 vote. The bill will now go to President Trump for his signature.
