Amid Tragedy and Heartbreak in Texas, Hero Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer Saves Over 160 Lives

The flooding on the Guadalupe River in Texas has been a devastating tragedy, and there are sadly at least 59 confirmed deaths and numerous people still missing, including girls from a Christian camp that were swept away by the surge. As we’ve reported, that hasn’t stopped ghoulish Democrats from trying to politicize the disaster, and of course many leftists quickly decided who was to blame for nature’s wrath: President Trump.

Although there are ghouls in this story, there is also a true hero. Details are thin, but Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Sunday that one man is responsible for saving an incredible number of lives—on his first mission.
