You may recall last year when Joe Biden was facing multiple crises, including the border being overrun and American hostages still being held by Hamas, and he urged us to listen to Elmo, the Sesame Street muppet, regarding emotional health.

That was ironic given his own mental health and ridiculous given all he was supposed to be dealing with – but wasn’t.

It was the first thing I thought of when I heard on Monday that the Elmo X account had gone on a wild antisemitic rampage, posting unhinged things against Jewish people to his 640,000 followers, including “Kill all Jews.” It also called on President Donald Trump to “release the files” with a nasty curse word. It even replied to people in similar unsavory language.
The Sesame Street folks disavowed it.
