Everything you need to know for this year’s Last Chance Stampede and Fair

It’s fair week in Helena.

For the 64th year the Last Chance Stampede and Fair officially kicks off this Wednesday at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds, 98 W. Custer Ave.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Last Chance Stampede rodeo

The annual three-night PRCA rodeo performance will start Thursday and run each night through Saturday.

The rodeo will begin each night at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets cost $25 and child tickets, ages 3-12, cost $7. Tickets are available on the fairgrounds’ website. 

C5 Rodeo Company, based out of Helena and Lac La Biche, Alberta, is this year’s stock contractor for the rodeo.

Wayne Brooks, the “Voice of Rodeo,” returns this year as the Last Chance Stampede’s rodeo announcer. A PRCA member since 1994, Brooks has been named PRCA Rodeo Announcer of the Year five times and has been selected as one of the Wrangler National Finals announcers nine times.
