It’s no surprise the Trump DOJ confirmed Jeffrey Epstein killed himself — the twisted financier had lost everything

“It’s hard to believe that not so long ago people actually thought I was a good guy. And now people are ashamed to say they knew me.”

That’s what a forlorn Jeffrey ­Epstein told me just weeks before his July 2019 arrest for sex trafficking of minors and subsequent suicide in his jail cell.

When I heard the news, I wasn’t surprised that Epstein, an uber-rich one-time master of the universe, had killed himself. He had risen to the top of finance as a high-end wealth adviser, hanging with Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and top Wall Street financiers. He had an office at Harvard where he handled his philanthropic efforts.
