Here in the Great Land, Alaska Republicans have been alternatively confused and frustrated by Princess Lisa Murkowski ever since her father awarded her the Senate seat like a feudal title. Oh, Princess Lisa appeals to some squishy Republicans, as well as Anchorage and Juneau Democrats who are aware that it’s a taller order to try to get a Democrat elected to the Senate in Alaska these days. But plenty of us, more conservative types, have watched her career with annoyance and chagrin.
