As RedState reported back in 2023, the senator claimed a $1.7 million Maryland home as his “primary residence” on a federally-insured loan document. By doing so, he secured a lower mortgage rate. The problem? He’s a politician from Burbank, CA, who would not have been eligible to hold the elected offices he held from 2003-2025 if his primary residence were in another state. So one way or the other, it looks like Schiff lied.
