The short film, “The Deed,” written and directed by Annie Flowers and filmed in Choteau in January, will debut at the Roxy Theatre in Choteau with a special screening of the film and a behind-the-scenes video on July 30 at 7 p.m.
Tickets will be $8 at the door and concessions will be available.
Flowers, who grew up in Choteau and graduated from Choteau High School in 2008, said she is extremely proud that the film will be shown to its first audience at the Roxy in Choteau.
“It’s cliché, but it really is a dream come true,” she said in an email interview. “I have so many fond memories of watching movies in that theater, and as I’ve said before, this is really a love story to my hometown and celebrating where I grew up.
