Had competent officials been in charge in the progressive sewer of California, a known violent drug addict would have been behind bars instead of brutally slaying a wealthy, accomplished couple in the beautiful Los Angeles neighborhood of Encino.

The story: Longtime, Emmy-winning “American Idol” executive Robin Kaye and her husband, composer Thomas Deluca, were found dead in their home Monday after both were brutally executed.
