Ten people were wounded in two mass shootings in Chicago Wednesday — just 12 hours apart, police said.
The first of two mass shootings occurred in West Garfield Park on the city’s West Side, where a gunman approached a group standing outside and opened fire, striking four women and a man, police said.
The victims, ranging in age from 18 to 34, were listed in good condition at hospitals, while one 34-year-old woman who was shot in the thigh refused medical attention at the scene, department officials said.
