A new poll shows Governor Greg Gianforte solidifying his position in the race for reelection, leading Democratic challenger Ryan Busse by a significant margin of 55% to 36%. This latest survey reflects the growing support for Gianforte’s leadership as Montanans prepare to head to the polls.
Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt expressed confidence in the governor’s prospects, stating, “Montanans overwhelmingly support the strong conservative leadership of Governor Gianforte, Attorney General Knudsen, and Secretary of State Jacobsen. They are fired up to send Tim Sheehy to Washington and retire Jon Tester once and for all.” Kaltschmidt emphasized the importance of the upcoming election, noting that voters are eager to make their voices heard.
In addition to Gianforte’s strong showing, the poll also highlights other Republican candidates leading in their races. Tim Sheehy currently leads Jon Tester by 51% to 45%, while Attorney General Austin Knudsen is ahead of Ben Alke, 53% to 35%. Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen also holds a lead over Jesse Mullen, 48% to 31%.
In the races for State Auditor and State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Republican candidates Jim Brown and Susie Hedalen are also leading their Democratic opponents.
With less than 30 days until the election, Gianforte and fellow GOP candidates are poised to leverage their current momentum as they work to secure victory at the polls.
