Montana Law Enforcement Academy Graduates 62 New Officers

The Montana Law Enforcement Academy (MLEA), part of the Montana Department of Justice, celebrated the graduation of 62 new officers today. These graduates will serve in 40 agencies across the state, bolstering law enforcement efforts in state, county, city, and tribal jurisdictions.

Attorney General Austin Knudsen attended the ceremony, commending the graduates on their achievement and readiness to serve.

“I am proud of what Montana’s newest law enforcement officers have accomplished during their time at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy,” Knudsen said. “They will face challenges most cannot imagine, but I’m confident they are prepared for what lies ahead in their law enforcement careers and will serve their communities with integrity.”

The MLEA provides both basic and advanced training for law enforcement personnel across Montana, preparing officers for the demands of modern policing while emphasizing community service and ethical standards.
