A four-person team operating Hauser Dam for Northwestern Energy was honored Tuesday with OSHA’s highest safety designation — the Voluntary Protection Program Star Worksite — recognizing over a decade of commitment to workplace safety and health.

The Hauser site has participated in OSHA’s program since August 2011 and has continued its workplace safety and health excellence by completing recertification over the years, officials said.
The VPP Star Worksite designation is the highest given by the administration.
