In 1990, at age 29, Ric Holden and his wife, Jan, bought 250 acres of irrigated farmland from a retiring farmer, settling in the original farmhouse with two young children and a baby. As people in the surrounding area began to sell their property, the Holdens gradually built their farm and ranch operation into what it is today.
