Teton County Commissioners, meeting on June 26, approved a $1 an hour raise for elected officials for the new fiscal year, July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, as recommended by the County Salary Compensation Board, which met on June 18.
The Salary Compensation Board — made up of elected officials and county taxpayers — on June 18 agreed to recommend that 10 elected officials receive a $1 per hour salary increase for the 2025-26 fiscal year, which started on July 1. This is the same amount the board recommended last year.
Members of the compensation board at the meeting were all three county commissioners — Joe Dellwo, Sam Carlson and Brian Bedord — Clerk and Recorder Paula Jaconetty, Justice of the Peace Pete Rasmussen, County Attorney Joe Coble, and taxpayers John Burgmaier of Power, Don Becker of Fairfield and Bob Snodgrass of Pendroy.
