Manassas Republican Party Headquarters vandalized over July 4 weekend

The Manassas Republican Party Headquarters in Virginia was vandalized over the Independence Day holiday weekend, the National Republican Congressional Committee announced Monday.

Located about 45 minutes outside of Washington, the Manassas GOP headquarters had spray paint on its building with the word “fash” written, almost certainly a short form of the word “fascist,” a common Democratic epithet against Republicans for decades.

Urine was also splattered on the windows.

The NRCC said in its press release that one Virginia Democrat, in particular, has been fearmongering and refuses to condemn the attack.

“Fearmongering Democrat Eugene Vindman must condemn this disgusting attack. To remain silent is to condone it,” said Maureen O’Toole, spokeswoman for the NRCC.

Mr. Vindman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to Fox 5, other Democratic city council members have condemned the attack including Ralph Smith and Tom Osina.
