Prep work intensifies Thursday for weekend’s Montana Folk Festival

Giovanni’s Concessions from Idaho prepared Thursday to set up near the Original Mineyard stage. 

Hayden Cole, a cook for Giovanni’s Concessions, cleans the food vendor’s already shiny exterior in preparation for the crowds that will flock to the Original Mineyard beginning Friday for the Montana Folk Festival in Uptown Butte.

Cook Hayden Cole cleaned the exterior of the already shiny concession venue, which serves a variety of foods. Large bags of potatoes waited for the throngs to begin arriving Friday night for the annual free Montana Folk Festival. 

Idaho-based Giovanni’s Concessions is prepared for customer demand during the weekend’s Montana Folk Festival. Cook Hayden Cole said, ‘We do really good curly fries.’
