Two men have been charged over the alleged torture and assault of a man left tied to a tree in bushland in Queensland’s southeast.
Police say the 24-year-old managed to free himself and flag a passing motorist on Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road, Tamborine on Wednesday morning and was later taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg and facial injuries.
A 24-year-old Yarrabilba man and a 29-year-old Logan Village man have been charged with one count each of grievous bodily harm, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, deprivation of liberty and torture.
