The White House on Wednesday notified the Secret Service of a threat after the actor Peter Fonda tweeted that President Donald Trump’s preteen son should be torn from his mother’s arms and caged.
Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for first lady Melania Trump told POLITICO that the notification came in response to Fonda’s tweet, which suggested that 12-year-old Barron Trump should be placed in confinement “with pedophiles … see if mother will stand up against the giant a–hole she is married to.”
The White House’s notification of the Secret Service was first reported by The Daily Caller, which quoted Grisham calling the actor’s remarks “sick and irresponsible.”
