Vice President Mike Pence bragged to a big crowd in Bozeman Tuesday afternoon about what he and President Donald Trump have done in the last two years — tax cuts, killing regulations, a new trade agreement with Canada and Mexico.
And, he said, the key to keeping that going is running up the Republican majority in the U.S. Senate. A part of that equation is the race entering its final weeks here in Montana, where Republican state auditor Matt Rosendale is trying to unseat Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, who is seeking his third term in the Senate.
“I think it’s time for Montana to vote no on Jon Tester,” Pence said. “In Matt Rosendale, you have a proven conservative leader.”
