Gallatin Co. coworkers launch side business making soap from beer, bacon

Beer and bacon — those are the two essential ingredients for a new business venture launched by two women in Gallatin County.

Business partners Melissa Pomeroy and Cat Thomas are using those unique ingredients to make soap.

“Poking around on the internet, we both fell down a rabbit hole of where we discovered you can make soap out of beer,” said Pomeroy.
