EVANSTON SEEKS $4.12 MILLION TO FACILITATE OREGON MANUFACTURER’S MOVE TO WYOMING

CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Evanston have applied for a $3 million grant and a $1,109,607 loan from the state to build a 60,000 acre square foot manufacturing facility at their Union Center Business Park.

The facility would accommodate the relocation of Avalon International Aluminum, according to the Wyoming Business Council. The WBC Board of Directors will hold a special virtual meeting at 1 pm Thursday, Oct. 22 to consider Evanston’s application for the Business Ready Communities grant and loan.
