Annual Montana FFA Ag Expo set for Nov. 14-16

Montana State University (MSU) is set to welcome nearly 1,800 high school and middle school students from across the state for the annual Montana FFA Ag Expo, taking place from November 14 to 16.

The expo will feature a variety of activities designed to enhance leadership skills and provide educational opportunities. Students will participate in workshops, learn about career options from industry representatives, and tour MSU’s research and academic facilities. Competitive events, including quiz bowls and livestock judging, will occur both on campus and at the Gallatin County fairgrounds.

This year’s expo is made possible through a collaboration between MSU, Montana John Deere dealers—C&B Operations, Frontline Ag Solutions, and RDO Equipment Co.—and the Montana FFA Foundation. The foundation supports 111 FFA chapters and over 7,000 members statewide, aiming to cultivate partnerships, promote agricultural awareness, and secure resources to enhance educational opportunities for students.

The event relies heavily on volunteers, with hundreds of judges and facilitators needed to run the career development activities. Individuals interested in volunteering can sign up at [signup.com](https://signup.com/client/invitation). No prior experience is necessary.

Additionally, organizations are invited to register for an exhibit at the expo’s career show, which will take place on Friday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.\
