The Helena Area Chamber of Commerce and Helena Public Schools district will be discussing bonds over a cold one at various establishments throughout the Queen City ahead of a September vote.
Brothers Tapworks, Ten Mile Creek Brewery and Speakeasy 41 will be host venues for Bonds and Brews for discussions about proposed bond issues that will be on ballots going out Aug. 22.
Election day will be held Sept. 9.
Members of the public were encouraged to attend the discussions that will include a question-and-answer portion with school district leaders, accessible information about the bonds and their impacts, and overall community discussion.
Brothers Tapworks will be the first venue for the event on July 15 and Aug. 5.
Ten Mile Creek Brewery had dates set for July 22 and 29 and Aug. 19.
