Since Hodgskiss Holdings purchased Bouma Truck Sales in Choteau on Jan. 1, the new “Teton Trucks” hasn’t missed a beat in taking care of customers who need vehicles fixed or detailed, parts or to purchase or rent a truck or other machinery.
In an interview, Chrissy Hodgskiss said the new owners have continued and expanded the services available at the shop complex, just north of Choteau on Secondary Highway 220.
She said the Hodgskiss families — including her husband Ben Hodgskiss and Ben’s brother Bill Hodgskiss — purchased the Choteau branch of the business from Chris Arnold, who is continuing to operate Bouma Truck Sales in Great Falls. Brothers Jim and Neal Bouma established the business, originally called Bouma Wholesale, in Choteau in 1982, prompted by the need of area farmers for larger trucks to haul their grain to elevators for shipment on railcars.
