Officials gathered Wednesday to celebrate the completion of a fiber broadband project in Hardin and construction underway in Butte and Whitehall.

Visionary Broadband is an internet provider in the western United States and now has a small presence in Butte and Red Lodge. It will soon offer connection in Whitehall, Hardin, Cardwell, Piedmont, Pipestone, Twin Bridges and Waterloo, hoping to reach nearly 500,000 Montanans, company officials said.
Visionary CEO Brian Worthen said homes and businesses have a “need for reliable broadband.”
