Governor Mark Gordon will kick off a statewide tour, The Essential Budget: Protecting and Powering Wyoming’s Future, to outline the priorities and key decisions of the upcoming legislative budget session. The series will highlight issues including protecting core industries, supporting economic and business growth, the importance of state savings, property tax reform, and other topics as time allows.
The tour is designed to provide residents with a closer look at Governor Gordon’s budget proposals and their potential impact on local communities. Each event will include a public question-and-answer segment and time for the Governor to meet with local media.
The first event will take place in Lander at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the Wind River Room at The Inn at Lander.
